LOST LOVE
There’s so much that love contains
Which myopic are eyes to have seen
Skin has never felt its soft massage
Which soothes the bulging desires
The tongue has never tasted its flavour
Except taking the pill of loneliness
My ears impaired an’ deafen in silence
Only to listen to the emptiness of the nights
My face pale to reflect its bright smiles
Nor those dimples glowing at your sight show
My legs lamed and dragging to move
Only to roam the world fumbling for you
The hands in vain trying to grasp you
And like a warm blanket to wrap my heart
Why must i cry a ceaseless cry,
When you are the cloth to wipe my tears?
Why can’t I stop thinking of you,
My dream that turns into dust?
Goodbye dear, my love,
When shall I see you again?
